Across the world, Transparency International chapters work hard to help the public become involved and engaged in the fight against corruption.
As climate change creates huge ecological and economic damage, more and more money is being given to at-risk countries to help them prevent it and adapt to its effects. But poorly governed climate finance can be diverted into private bank accounts and vanity projects, often leading to damaging effects.
Anti-corruption agencies (ACAs) are key to the fight against corruption, but to do this they need to be independent, publicly accountable and well-funded and staffed. In our new report we publish our findings of research into the strengths and weaknesses of ACAs in six Asian countries.
